Ayyappa Pancharatnam in Telugu
Ayyappa, also known as Lord Ayyappa, is a Hindu deity widely revered in the southern states of India. He is considered to be the son of Lord Shiva and Mohini, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ayyappa is believed to be the presiding deity of Sabarimala, a famous pilgrimage site in Kerala.

The first jewel is “Dharma Sastha,” which represents Ayyappa as the protector of righteousness and justice. The second jewel is “Manikandan,” which signifies his birth as Mohini’s son and his divine form. The third jewel is “Hariharaputra,” highlighting his dual parentage from Lord Shiva and Mohini.
The fourth jewel is “Sabarigireeshan,” emphasizing Ayyappa’s association with Sabarimala, where he resides atop a hill surrounded by dense forests. Devotees undertake rigorous pilgrimages to seek his blessings at this sacred site. Finally, the fifth jewel is “Pandala Raja,” symbolizing Ayyappa’s role as the king or ruler of those who undertake the pilgrimage to Sabarimala.
These Five Jewels of Lord Ayyappa hold great significance for devotees who worship him fervently during annual festivals such as Makaravilakku or Mandalapooja. They serve as guiding principles for leading a righteous life and seeking spiritual enlightenment through devotion to Lord Ayyappa.

ఆర్తత్రాణపరం దేవం శాస్తారం ప్రణమామ్యహమ్ || 5 ||
పంచరత్నాఖ్యమేతద్యో నిత్యం శుద్ధః పఠేన్నరః |
తస్య ప్రసన్నో భగవాన్ శాస్తా వసతి మానసే ||
